Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robin Young got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Young in the 4th minute of play forced Penge's goalkeeper Danny Thurman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danny Thurman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Young in the 8th minute of play. If Robin Young had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Johnny Eldridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Thurman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danny Thurman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Young in the 14th minute of the match. When The Batsteroos's Robin Young in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penge's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Harvey Barker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Batsteroos's Jay Bramhall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Batsteroos's Luke Porter got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Batsteroos's Johnny Eldridge got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Batsteroos's Jay Bramhall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save The Batsteroos from getting a goal against them. Danny Thurman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Eldridge, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, The Batsteroos's Luke Porter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Thurman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Danny Thurman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Young in the 44th minute of play. Johnny Eldridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnny Eldridge scored 0-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danny Thurman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harvey Barker made a kick off. Danny Thurman stood somewhat misplaced when Robin Young came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 57 minute. The Batsteroos's Luke Porter got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Roger Evans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Batsteroos the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Roger Evans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When The Batsteroos's Johnny Eldridge in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penge's goalie prevented a goal. Robin Young could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Danny Thurman made a huge save. In the 70th match minute, Penge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zane Patton to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as The Batsteroos's Robin Young slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danny Thurman. That made the score 0-4 after 74 minutes of play. The Batsteroos's Johnny Eldridge got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robin Young let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 79th minute shot 0-5 at rihgt post. Jay Bramhall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Revell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Porter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Thurman having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, The Batsteroos's Robin Young made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danny Thurman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Batsteroos's Luke Porter got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Craig Moore kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Robin Young managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Luke Porter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Danny Thurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Batsteroos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
