Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeffrey Selby in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calvin Davies prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeffrey Selby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Davies having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Jeffrey Selby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WC Hawks's Calvin Davies was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes WC Hawks got a freekick which was hit by Dean Fenwick. Jeffrey Selby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Calvin Davies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Totley's Jeffrey Selby in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WC Hawks's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jeffrey Selby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Totley's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeffrey Selby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calvin Davies breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calvin Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Selby in the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeffrey Selby to make the kick off. Totley's Karl Ealham got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jeffrey Selby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dean Fenwick during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dean Fenwick hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Calvin Davies was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rich Croxford. Calvin Davies was a little too slow when Jeffrey Selby got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-2. If Jeffrey Selby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Connor Eldridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calvin Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffrey Selby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 88 in the game by Karl Ealham from a close distance when the talented Calvin Davies managed to make a qualified save. WC Hawks's players were relieved. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind WC Hawks's goalkeeper Calvin Davies, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 92 played minutes WC Hawks got a freekick which was hit by Henry Longley. 93 minutes into the match, WC Hawks's goalkeeper Calvin Davies had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Ealham. Totley's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
