Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matt Stayton got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Shaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Deacon having to interfere. Calne's Marc Helks got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calverley's Junior Baldwin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Calverley from getting a goal against them. Marc Helks who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Junior Baldwin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Matt Stayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Calverley getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lewis Sunderland hit a great ball. Calne's Tim Rowling shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Junior Baldwin but with some difficulty. Kris Nelthorpe hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Tim Rowling, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matt Stayton in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Junior Baldwin saved Calverley from getting behind. Junior Baldwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Stayton in the 29th minute of play. Matt Stayton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Baldwin having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calverley's goalkeeper Junior Baldwin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Calverley's Lewis Sunderland got a free kick in the 46th minute. Matt Stayton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Jonathan Shaw made the kick off in the second half. Junior Baldwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matt Stayton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matt Stayton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Calverley's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Stayton came free, but Junior Baldwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Calne a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tim Rowling, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Calverley's Junior Baldwin. 2-0. Junior Baldwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matt Stayton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Calverley's zone, Norman Kent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Junior Baldwin came out of the goal and Norman Kent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Matt Stayton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Baldwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Marc Helks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Helks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Junior Baldwin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marc Helks went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Calverley's zone, Matt Stayton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Junior Baldwin came out of the goal and Matt Stayton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Helks struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Junior Baldwin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calne. Junior Baldwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matt Stayton, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 4-0 became the score in the 96th minute when Marc Helks elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
