Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Longden to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Longden in the 88th minute of play forced Bayton's goalkeeper Buster Proctor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ruben Butterfield's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Golding was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Mark Golding didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryan Constable went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Bayton walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
