Ray Alcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyn Barkley having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Shoeburyness AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Alcock came free, but Gwyn Barkley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shoeburyness AFC's Gwyn Barkley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Alcock in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kris Haxby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gwyn Barkley was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Gwyn Barkley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Alcock in the 37th minute of the match. The wind increased when Brad Story-Moore made the kick off in the second half. Shoeburyness AFC's Gwyn Barkley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Shoeburyness AFC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Kris Haxby kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gwyn Barkley. That made the score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Kris Haxby reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gwyn Barkley. The goal made the score 0-2. Ray Alcock kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Gwyn Barkley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ray Alcock in the 63rd minute. Ray Alcock's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Gwyn Barkley skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th minute Kris Haxby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyn Barkley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Steven Beadle came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Leicester Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Beadle couldn't finish the play. Gwyn Barkley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Haxby in the 76th minute of play. Gwyn Barkley made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Ray Alcock sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Steven Beadle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leicester Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shoeburyness AFC the free kick. Steven Beadle hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ray Alcock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Haxby in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwyn Barkley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gwyn Barkley came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester Academy's Ray Alcock. But to his dismay, Ray Alcock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Kris Haxby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gwyn Barkley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Ray Alcock could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Gwyn Barkley however easily saved by the left post. Kris Haxby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gwyn Barkley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Alcock in the 95th minute of play.
