Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Liam Coulson got the match started through his kick off. When Pete Chilton fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marlow FC's protests and gave Pete Chilton a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Marlow FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Pete Chilton hit a great ball. The supporters of Marlow FC booed when AFC Raleigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Darling didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Pete Chilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominic Clemence took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garth Revell. Garth Revell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marlow FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chesney Fish in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lance La Forte saved AFC Raleigh from getting behind. Garth Revell came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Raleigh's Dominic Clemence. But to his dismay, Dominic Clemence quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Dominic Clemence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wayne Francis kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Julian Bennet charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Bennet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Marlow FC's Julian Bennet got a free kick in the 35th minute. Dominic Clemences short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Garth Revell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wayne Francis's late challenge caught a Marlow FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wayne Francis helped the player get up and apologised. When Kurt Partridge fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marlow FC's protests and gave Kurt Partridge a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominic Clemence got free with Garth Revell in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lance La Forte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhys Eldridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michael Broom to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Michael Broom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garth Revell was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Chesney Fish struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Lance La Forte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlow FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Broom in the 61st minute of play forced Marlow FC's goalkeeper Garth Revell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garth Revell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Clemence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garth Revell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Broom in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Marlow FC's zone, Michael Broom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garth Revell came out of the goal and Michael Broom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the game, AFC Raleigh's Dominic Clemence nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Garth Revell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Rhys Eldridge struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Lance La Forte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlow FC. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Raleigh's goalkeeper Lance La Forte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, AFC Raleigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Broom to maneuver through the defense. Chesney Fish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lance La Forte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominic Clemence's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garth Revell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Michael Broom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garth Revell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominic Clemence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Garth Revell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC Raleigh were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marlow FC for a fine match.
