Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Isaac Ramsay made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Isaac Ramsay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marlow FC's Garth Revell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaac Ramsay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Garth Revell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Jermaine Lomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garth Revell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Carl Bartlett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marlow FC's Garth Revell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Marlow FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jermaine Lomas came free, but Garth Revell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doug Warner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chesney Fish showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Doug Warner made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Chesney Fish sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Marlow FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Cain came free, but Garth Revell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jim Cain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Rhys Eldridge took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Doug Warner to make any attempt to save it. Garth Revell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Ramsay in the 38th minute of play. Jermaine Lomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liam Simpson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Chesney Fish ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doug Warner was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Isaac Ramsay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Marlow FC booed when Grantham Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jermaine Lomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Chesney Fish ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doug Warner was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After 62 minutes, Jim Cain made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Marlow FC's Garth Revell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Doug Warner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chesney Fish, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Grantham Town's Jermaine Lomas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Garth Revell. Garth Revell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. A collision led to Grantham Town getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Albert Newman hit a great ball. Doug Warner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dean Sawyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Ramsay spun around in front of the goal 77 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Marlow FC's goal. Dean Sawyer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Doug Warner. Grantham Town's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carl Bartlett struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Garth Revell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grantham Town. Jermaine Lomas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garth Revell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 minutes Marlow FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isaac Ramsay who took care of the corner kick. Grantham Town's Isaac Ramsay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Garth Revell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Garth Revell managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Grantham Town's Isaac Ramsay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Jim Cain came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Grantham Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Cain couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Grantham Town booed when Marlow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Chilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Jim Cain lined in a short shot 4-4 behind a frustrated Garth Revell. Grantham Town were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
