Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rio Forster kicked off to start the match. Laurence Buchanan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glenn Hotte in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnny Slater prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Martyn Christensen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Boyes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Porthcurno City's Glenn Hotte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johnny Slater made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Jake Warner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Farmer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Freddy Boyes. Porthcurno City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Johnny Slater made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Buchanan in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Laurence Buchanan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porthcurno City's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurence Buchanan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Slater breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnny Slater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Hotte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Berwick Upon Tweed's Rio Forster in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Berwick Upon Tweed's Johnny Slater played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Hotte in the 55th minute of play. Laurence Buchanan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Martyn Christensen came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Berwick Upon Tweed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martyn Christensen couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Porthcurno City's Laurence Buchanan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johnny Slater narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Glenn Hotte sped through Berwick Upon Tweed's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johnny Slater. John Paul Houghton kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Berwick Upon Tweed's Ken Waite got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Martyn Christensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mickey Mayall's late challenge caught a Berwick Upon Tweed's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mickey Mayall helped the player get up and apologised. Mickey Mayall hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Rio Forster managed to get in a good position for a shot.
