Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alec Halloran kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Peter King got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pibes FC's Sonny Strong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Pibes FC from getting a goal against them. If Rex Reynolds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Alec Halloran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sonny Strong. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. If Jo Rice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rex Reynolds struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Richard Rathmell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pibes FC. 41 minutes into the match, Alec Halloran notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Pibes FC's Sonny Strong. Sonny Strong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rex Reynolds to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rex Reynolds in the 51st minute of play forced Wanborough's goalkeeper Richard Rathmell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes of play, Wanborough's Alec Halloran made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Strong was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 71 minutes, Alec Halloran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wanborough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alec Halloran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alec Halloran took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sonny Strong. Sonny Strong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When Jo Rice came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Wanborough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jo Rice couldn't finish the play. Eric Heslop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sonny Strong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Jo Rice left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wanborough fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Dale Deveraux shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Wanborough's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
