Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Berwick Upon Tweed's Rio Forster started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martyn Christensen got free with Jack Nethercot in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5th minute, Ken Waite fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jack Nethercot, passed just outside the right post. Rio Forster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Nethercot having to interfere. Rio Forster's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jack Nethercot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Kris Drake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Rayner in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnny Slater saved Berwick Upon Tweed from getting behind. Kris Drake kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Zane Garner-Currie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jack Nethercot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Jack Nethercot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Waite in the 31st minute of the match. Martyn Christensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jack Nethercot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kris Drake came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Warminster AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kris Drake couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, John Paul Houghton notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Warminster AFC's Jack Nethercot. Jack Nethercot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes into the game, John Paul Houghton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jack Nethercot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jack Nethercot was a little too slow when John Paul Houghton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christopher Rayner to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martyn Christensen in the 55th minute of play forced Warminster AFC's goalkeeper Jack Nethercot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, Warminster AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Drake to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes, Berwick Upon Tweed's Thom Plant shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jack Nethercot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Berwick Upon Tweed reached it. Berwick Upon Tweed walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
