Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kenny Cousens kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Pibes FC's Lance Skipton got a free kick in the 5th minute. Kenny Cousens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Strong having to interfere. Walford AFC's Jim Askew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Gilchrist in the 9th minute of play. Rex Reynolds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jim Askew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jim Askew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Gilchrist, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Peter King fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pibes FC's protests and gave Peter King a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Peter King hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walford AFC's Sebastian Newbury couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pibes FC. Sonny Strong didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Jay Slator kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jim Askew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rex Reynolds, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Pibes FC's Rex Reynolds in 36 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jim Askew guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in Walford AFC's zone, Jim Gilchrist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Askew came out of the goal and Jim Gilchrist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, Walford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iain Welsh to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pibes FC booed when Walford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iain Welsh didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rex Reynolds stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walford AFC's Iain Welsh got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Jim Gilchrist made a precise shot to the right of Jim Askew. Walford AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Reggie Huxtable hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenny Cousens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Strong having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Pibes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter King to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Sebastian Newbury sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sonny Strong skillfully saved the ball. Sonny Strong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Cousens in the 93rd minute of play. Rex Reynolds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
