Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Glenn Hotte made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes, Ty Devaney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porthcurno City and the AFC Sesku players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Porthcurno City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Devaney to maneuver through the defense. Laurence Buchanan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Yorke having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Blair Gill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blair Gill during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AFC Sesku getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Blair Gill hit a great ball. The long shot by Paddy Heywood in the 20th minute really tested Denis Yorke's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 21 played minutes AFC Sesku got a freekick which was hit by Blair Gill. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Sesku's zone, Glenn Hotte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Yorke came out of the goal and Glenn Hotte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Little during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Porthcurno City getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Thomas Little hit a great ball. Freddy Boyes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeff Dunne's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Laurence Buchanan struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Denis Yorke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porthcurno City.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mick Wilkes to make the kick off. Denis Yorke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Buchanan in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to AFC Sesku getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Danny Corrigan hit a great ball. Denis Yorke came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Porthcurno City's Glenn Hotte. But to his dismay, Glenn Hotte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Porthcurno City's Freddy Boyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mick Wilkes in the 62nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, AFC Sesku's Mick Wilkes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Boyes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Paddy Heywood kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Mick Wilkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Boyes having to interfere. Glenn Hotte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Yorke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Freddy Boyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mick Wilkes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Boyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mick Wilkes in the 77th minute of play. Freddy Boyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mick Wilkes went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Denis Yorke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glenn Hotte's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Mick Wilkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Boyes having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Quentin Rundell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Sesku's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porthcurno City the free kick. Porthcurno City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AFC Sesku for a fine match.
