But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Busby couldn't finish the play. Walter Bostock made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gary Basterfield however managed to control. St1tchCorp's Jon Bowden got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Den Butters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dale Prendergast tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gary Basterfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rdth minute of the game Gary Basterfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St1tchCorp's Darius Harkin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
