Howard Howard started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, FIVE Wizards's Frank Hughes-Guy got a free kick in the 4th minute. Luke Newlyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Thompson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chesney Duffield's late challenge caught a East Leakers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chesney Duffield helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olly Morley in the 15th minute of play forced FIVE Wizards's goalkeeper Luke Newlyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carl May had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to East Leakers getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marek Joynes hit a great ball. East Leakers's Denis Furniss got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Marek Hampshire notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FIVE Wizards's Luke Newlyn. Luke Newlyn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute, Howard Howard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Richard Thompson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The East Leakers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luke Newlyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olly Morley in the 32nd minute of the match. Conal Lewington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Howard Howard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes of play, East Leakers's Richard Thompson made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luke Newlyn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luke Newlyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olly Morley in the 42nd minute of the match. Luke Newlyn came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by East Leakers's Richard Thompson. But to his dismay, Richard Thompson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After the first half East Leakers were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Thompson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luke Newlyn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Thompson went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Conal Lewington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl May in the 57th minute of the match. When Olly Morley came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the East Leakers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olly Morley couldn't finish the play. Conal Lewington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howard Howard, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Richard Thompson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FIVE Wizards's Luke Newlyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FIVE Wizards from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FIVE Wizards getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Chesney Duffield hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Carl May was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FIVE Wizards's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave East Leakers the free kick. The supporters of East Leakers booed when FIVE Wizards was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl May didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, FIVE Wizards's goalkeeper Luke Newlyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Hampshire. FIVE Wizards's Luke Newlyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FIVE Wizards from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd match minute, FIVE Wizards was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Howard to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, FIVE Wizards's goalkeeper Luke Newlyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brendon Lowndes. 88 minutes into the match, Brendon Lowndes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luke Newlyn. FIVE Wizards's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brendon Lowndes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Luke Newlyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Furniss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FIVE Wizards fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. East Leakers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
