After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Charles Gunn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huddersfield FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Gunn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luke Newlyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Luke Newlyn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FIVE Wizards's Luke Newlyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Pitt in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Derek Pitt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huddersfield FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derek Pitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Brendon Parks notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Huddersfield FC's Pete Halford. Pete Halford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luke Newlyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Gunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Gordon Newman hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

58 minutes into the game, Derek Pitt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Luke Newlyn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Hughes-Guy kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. FIVE Wizards's Luke Newlyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Newman in the 65th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Brendon Parks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FIVE Wizards and the Huddersfield FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pete Halford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howard Howard, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gordon Newman charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gordon Newman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Gordon Newman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Huddersfield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Howard came free, but Pete Halford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl May recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Carl May could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Pete Halford however easily saved by the left post. Charles Gunn kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Huddersfield FC fully deserved thier win.
