When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daryl Simms made a kick off. The supporters of Dover Athletic FC booed when Mbenghis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ash Ottaway didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Mbenghis's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Digby came free, but Donald Calder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antony Dothery in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
