Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bart Quantrill took the kick off in the first half of the match. Unia Tarnow's Jon Johnstone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Unia Tarnow from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neil Sullivan during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kimpton booed when Unia Tarnow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Sullivan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart Quantrill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jon Johnstone made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Kimpton's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Bevan came free, but Jeremy Pickard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylan Woodman kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Kimpton got a freekick which was hit by Charles Brewer. Jeremy Pickard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reggie Higgins in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Nathan Holdroyd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unia Tarnow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kimpton the free kick. In the 19th minute, one of Unia Tarnow:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unia Tarnow. 26 minutes into the match, Reggie Higgins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremy Pickard. Kimpton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reggie Higgins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Unia Tarnow's Neil Sullivan got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ashley Anderson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Lloyd Fry sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremy Pickard skillfully saved the ball. Reggie Higgins charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reggie Higgins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kimpton booed when Unia Tarnow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reggie Higgins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Felix Newlyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kimpton's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Newlyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Johnstone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tom Bond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Pickard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reggie Higgins in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremy Pickard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tom Bond kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Felix Newlyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jon Johnstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Reggie Higgins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Pickard having to interfere. In the 59th minute Stevie Bakewell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Johnstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Kimpton's Jeremy Pickard got control of the ball when Reggie Higgins tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gwyn Letheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reggie Higgins did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Jeremy Pickard 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Rory Bevan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reggie Higgins kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Unia Tarnow's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Newlyn came free, but Jon Johnstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Felix Newlyn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kimpton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rory Bevan during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Unia Tarnow got a freekick which was hit by Rory Bevan. If Dave Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Dave Colman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unia Tarnow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Colman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 played minutes Unia Tarnow got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Holdroyd. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
