Ryan Hilditch scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ray Alsford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Hashtag United's Jimmy Lineker got a free kick in the 31st minute. Harvey Calder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Budge in the 33rd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ash Steele stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ray Alsford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jimmy Lineker got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Harvey Calder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zane Thompson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Stuart Allanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ray Alsford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ray Alsford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Hilditch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hashtag United's Ed Bonham in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 85 played minutes Hashtag United got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Allanson. Hashtag United's Stuart Allanson got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Budleigh Salterton's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Allanson came free, but Ray Alsford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Budleigh Salterton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trev Ash to maneuver through the defense. If Stuart Allanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hashtag United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
