Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Iain Hutchings made the kick off which started today's match. Kurt Hargreaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ash Steele in the 3rd minute of play. Kurt Hargreaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ash Steele, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ash Steele in the 10th minute of play forced Binsted's goalkeeper Kurt Hargreaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Binsted's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Lineker came free, but Kurt Hargreaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Hargreaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ash Steele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iain Hutchings in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harvey Calder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ryan Hilditch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Hargreaves having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Allanson in the 24th minute of play forced Binsted's goalkeeper Kurt Hargreaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Binsted's Freddy Martindale ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Harvey Calder. Harvey Calder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Binsted's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Allanson came free, but Kurt Hargreaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Gordon Thurman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Harvey Calder quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Binsted's zone, Jimmy Lineker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Hargreaves came out of the goal and Jimmy Lineker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute Stuart Allanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Hargreaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dom Kirkpatrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Harvey Calder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stuart Allanson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hashtag United's zone, Gordon Thurman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harvey Calder came out of the goal and Gordon Thurman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stuart Allanson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Hargreaves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Jeff Pye-Finch charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeff Pye-Finch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Harvey Calder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iain Hutchings in the 69th minute of the match. A hard shot 72 in the game by Stuart Allanson from a close distance when the talented Kurt Hargreaves managed to make a qualified save. Binsted's players were relieved. Jeff Pye-Finch was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Hashtag United booed when Binsted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeff Pye-Finch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Hargreaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stuart Allanson in the 75th minute. Stuart Allanson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hashtag United's Harvey Calder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dom Kirkpatrick in the 79th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Binsted's Gordon Thurman made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harvey Calder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stuart Allanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Jimmy Lineker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kurt Hargreaves. That made the score 2-2 in the 88 minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
