Spectators: 8077 (Terracing: 6059, Seating: 1858, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rory Bevan started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Fitz Greenwood recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jon Johnstone. Fitz Greenwood showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Barry Edgson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Bevan in the 12th minute of play. Jon Johnstone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fitz Greenwood's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With his leg Jon Johnstone managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Ealing's Christiano Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jon Johnstone had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fitz Greenwood from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jon Johnstone was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Fitz Greenwood capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fitz Greenwood really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Barry Edgson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Bevan in the 35th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christiano Barreto made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Christiano Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ealing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jon Johnstone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christiano Barreto went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 58 played minutes Unia Tarnow got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Higgins. Fitz Greenwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unia Tarnow's Jon Johnstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Barreto in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Fitz Greenwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Johnstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fitz Greenwood in the 79th minute of play forced Unia Tarnow's goalkeeper Jon Johnstone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The tension between the Unia Tarnow and the Ealing players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Christiano Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ealing's supporters rose to their feet, but Christiano Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Johnstone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
