If Stuart Allanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mbenghis getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ash Ottaway hit a great ball. Stuart Allanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Donald Calder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Hashtag United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Lineker to maneuver through the defense. Harvey Calder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Winship in the 22nd minute of the match. Harvey Calder made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Antony Dothery sent off a good shot on target. Donald Calder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ash Steele, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of Mbenghis booed when Hashtag United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ed Bonham didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes Hashtag United got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Lineker. In the 34th minute, Hashtag United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antony Dothery fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Ryan Hilditch fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hashtag United's protests and gave Ryan Hilditch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Hashtag United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Hilditch to maneuver through the defense. After 37 minutes Hashtag United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barney Winship who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mbenghis's Barney Winship to fire away a dangerous shot which Harvey Calder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Stuart Allanson struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Donald Calder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hashtag United. When Antony Dothery came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Mbenghis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antony Dothery couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Graeme Patterson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 53rd minute Rex Lamb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Calder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keith Dryden charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keith Dryden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mbenghis getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Keith Dryden hit a great ball. Donald Calder acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ian Osbon. After 56 played minutes Jimmy Lineker rounded Mbenghis's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Mbenghis's Antony Dothery got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hashtag United's goalkeeper Harvey Calder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney Winship in the 63rd minute of play forced Hashtag United's goalkeeper Harvey Calder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harvey Calder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Dothery in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match, Ryan Hilditch got a very nice opportunity to score, but Donald Calder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Denis Philpott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Ed Bonham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hashtag United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 78thth minute of the game Antony Dothery who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hashtag United's Harvey Calder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ash Steele in the 84th minute of play forced Mbenghis's goalkeeper Donald Calder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Mbenghis's goal looked a bit too open when Rex Lamb came free, but Donald Calder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stuart Allanson got free with Donald Calder in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donald Calder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stuart Allanson in the 90th minute. Harvey Calder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Winship, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Barney Winship left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mbenghis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
