Nicky Bensley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Carlin How Unite's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zak Henman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 21st minute Fitz Bloom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Bensley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlin How Unite's Nicky Bensley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Carlin How Unite from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the game, Fitz Bloom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nicky Bensley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicky Bensley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Phillip Armitstead showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 27 minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Fitz Bloom dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicky Bensley, 6-0. Fitz Bloom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nicky Bensley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlin How Unite's Nicky Bensley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Prior in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carlin How Unite's goalkeeper Nicky Bensley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fitz Bloom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Nicky Bensley made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominic Beckwith got free with Nicky Bensley in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Huey Dawson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fitz Bloom in the 52nd minute of play forced Carlin How Unite's goalkeeper Nicky Bensley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zak Henman took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicky Bensley. Nicky Bensley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zak Henman in the 56th minute of play forced Carlin How Unite's goalkeeper Nicky Bensley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fitz Bloom struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Nicky Bensley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anfield Elite. 61 minutes into the match, Carlin How Unite's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Younger came free, but Nicky Bensley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Phillip Armitstead had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phillip Armitstead recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicky Bensley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fitz Bloom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Brearley charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luke Brearley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Carlin How Unite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Brearley to maneuver through the defense. Nicky Bensley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Beckwith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicky Bensley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Prior in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Anfield Elite's Fitz Bloom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicky Bensley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Nicky Bensley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Henman in the 80th minute of play. Zak Henman scored 9-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicky Bensley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phillip Armitstead in the 88th minute of play forced Carlin How Unite's goalkeeper Nicky Bensley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfield Elite's Fitz Bloom got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicky Bensley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Phillip Armitstead went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Anfield Elite had played much better football throughout.
