Steven Bensley scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andre Champion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Wadebridge booed when Carlin How Unite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Smikle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lance Robertson struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Nicky Bensley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wadebridge. In the 17th minute, Luke Brearley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Carlin How Unite getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Andre Todd hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Wadebridge:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carlin How Unite:s goal. In the 25th match minute, Carlin How Unite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ashley Coulthard to maneuver through the defense. In the 26thth minute of the game Jake Baldwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carlin How Unite's Nicky Bensley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jake Baldwin took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicky Bensley. Nicky Bensley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jonathan Smikle was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ashley Coulthard made the kick off in the second half. Luke Brearley struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Andre Champion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlin How Unite. After some careless play in the Wadebridge defense, Ashley Coulthard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andre Champion. The Wadebridge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andre Champion should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Carlin How Unite's Luke Brearley got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jake Baldwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Bensley having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carlin How Unite's Julian Coates got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute, Lance Robertson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlin How Unite's Nicky Bensley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Robertson in the 72nd minute of play. Nicky Bensley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Baldwin in the 74th minute of the match. Ashley Coulthard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Champion having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the game Harvey Gray made a throw-in which Lance Robertson played forward. Robert Atkinson charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Atkinson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robert Atkinson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Carlin How Unite's goalkeeper Nicky Bensley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perry Rayner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Cain in the 91st minute of play forced Carlin How Unite's goalkeeper Nicky Bensley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Wadebridge's Lance Robertson made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicky Bensley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Despite being the better team, Wadebridge failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
