Seth Talbot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nicky Bensley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calvin Walls in the 6th minute. When Luke Brearley fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carlin How Unite's protests and gave Luke Brearley a yellow card for diving instead. Luke Brearley hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The supporters of Winchester FC booed when Carlin How Unite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronnie Kershaw didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calvin Walls in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicky Bensley saved Carlin How Unite from getting behind. Winchester FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Carlin How Unite's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matty Beadel took the corner. Winchester FC's Matty Beadel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicky Bensley in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 18th match minute, Carlin How Unite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Brearley to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calvin Walls got free with Nicky Bensley in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlin How Unite were furious when Ronnie Kershaw was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Carlin How Unite getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ronnie Kershaw hit a great ball. Matty Beadel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicky Bensley. Carlin How Unite's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nicky Bensley was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Calvin Walls capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Calvin Walls really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Dom Partridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Bensley having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Nicky Bensley successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Calvin Walls recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Winchester FC's Freddie Jackson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicky Bensley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 45 minutes into the match, Winchester FC's Matty Beadel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ashley Coulthard was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Winchester FC booed when Carlin How Unite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Todd didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dom Partridge during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bobby Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nicky Bensley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Calvin Walls shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Bensley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calvin Walls scored 4-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicky Bensley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute Calvin Walls shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Bensley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Cousins in the 86th minute of play forced Carlin How Unite's goalkeeper Nicky Bensley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Freddie Jackson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Bensley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Winchester FC's Calvin Walls in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carlin How Unite's goalie prevented a goal. Winchester FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
