Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patrick Laurie kicked off to start the match. Andre Champion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Laurie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, Wadebridge's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Evans came free, but Andre Champion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Perry Rayner fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wadebridge's protests and gave Perry Rayner a yellow card for diving instead. Perry Rayner kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Lance Robertson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jack Norton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perry Rayner struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jack Norton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wadebridge. After 18 minutes of play, Sutton Valence FC's Tommy Summers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andre Champion was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute Bobby Evans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Champion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Strickland kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Sutton Valence FC's Bobby Evans got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andre Champion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Laurie in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Wadebridge's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Evans came free, but Andre Champion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Norton made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Perry Rayner sent off a good shot on target. After 36 played minutes Sutton Valence FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Laurie. After 40 played minutes Sutton Valence FC got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Evans. After a rather tough play, Sutton Valence FC's Bobby Evans got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half Sutton Valence FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lance Robertson to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Summers scored 0-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andre Champion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrick Laurie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th minute of the game, Tommy Summers landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. A collision led to Wadebridge getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Max Strickland hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Sean Hislop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sutton Valence FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sean Hislop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Champion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sutton Valence FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Peter Lock hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Laurie during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Sutton Valence FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Laurie. Lance Robertson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jack Norton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Sutton Valence FC's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Rayner came free, but Jack Norton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Lance Robertson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wadebridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Robertson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sutton Valence FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sutton Valence FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
