A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gordan Katalenić hit a great ball. Johnathan Ruddock struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Simon Stockley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. Martin Morris hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, FC Manchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Bray to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Gordan Katalenić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Simon Stockley. Gordan Katalenić showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, FC Manchester's Simon Stockley got control of the ball when Gordan Katalenić tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gordan Katalenić came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of FC Manchester booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drew Marler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rowan Cook blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 林斌正 having to make a save. 林斌正 made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Rowan Cook sent off a good shot on target.
