In the 5th play minute Arthur Reindahl came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jack Norton. 1-0. Dodge City's Alisson Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Laurie in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Danny Button hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piers Cotterill got free with Jack Norton in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aytunç Tokel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jack Norton made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Piers Cotterill sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Arthur Reindahl notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sutton Valence FC's Jack Norton. Jack Norton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sean Hislop's late challenge caught a Dodge City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sean Hislop helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Sutton Valence FC got a freekick which was hit by Sean Hislop. Jack Norton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theofanis Papadimidis in the 35th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Theofanis Papadimidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jack Norton. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. Arthur Reindahl had several of the Sutton Valence FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Jack Norton as he didn't even see the shot coming. Theofanis Papadimidis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jack Norton came out and tried to block the shot, but Theofanis Papadimidis slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arthur Reindahl made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Sutton Valence FC's Damion Gill got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jack Norton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Button, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Laurie kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Jack Norton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofanis Papadimidis in the 63rd minute of play. Bobby Evans took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alisson Stegen. Alisson Stegen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Dodge City's Arthur Reindahl got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jack Norton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piers Cotterill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theofanis Papadimidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jack Norton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Dodge City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bobby Evans fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Piers Cotterill took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jack Norton. Jack Norton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Button in the 98th minute of play forced Sutton Valence FC's goalkeeper Jack Norton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
