Kris Cornforth struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Andre Champion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Universe. Black Universe's Kris Cornforth got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Kris Cornforth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andre Champion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andre Champion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Halliday in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Wadebridge booed when Black Universe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Cornforth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Black Universe's Kris Cornforth made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Cornforth in the 83rd minute of play forced Wadebridge's goalkeeper Andre Champion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Reg Bradfield was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Universe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wadebridge the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Cornforth in the 95th minute of play forced Wadebridge's goalkeeper Andre Champion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black Universe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
