Spectators: 8019 (Terracing: 6016, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Barney Mason made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Brinklow United's zone, Olly Higgins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drew Pointon came out of the goal and Olly Higgins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Brinklow United defense, Doug Wagstaff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Drew Pointon. The Brinklow United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Drew Pointon should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavin Waltham got free with Joey Etherington in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 minutes, Barney Mason made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Heathrow FC's Joey Etherington tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Heathrow FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Gavin Waltham scored to the left of an out of position Joey Etherington, making the score, 2-1. Gavin Waltham might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joey Etherington. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavin Waltham ran back to his position shaking his head. Drew Pointon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olly Higgins in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Barney Mason who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heathrow FC's Joey Etherington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaac Chambers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Pointon having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Jermaine Houghton made a precise shot to the right of Drew Pointon. Brinklow United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 41st match minute, Heathrow FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olly Higgins to maneuver through the defense. Drew Pointon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Chambers in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Jermaine Houghton came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Heathrow FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jermaine Houghton couldn't finish the play. Heathrow FC's Joey Etherington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavin Waltham in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Gavin Waltham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brinklow United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavin Waltham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Gavin Waltham notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Heathrow FC's Joey Etherington. Joey Etherington was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gavin Waltham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Heathrow FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damion Colbert came free, but Joey Etherington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Brinklow United's Drew Pointon got control of the ball when Doug Wagstaff tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Damion Colbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Etherington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Heathrow FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Glenn Bryant hit a great ball. Joey Etherington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhys Cummings, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Brinklow United's Damion Colbert in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heathrow FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney Mason in the 76th minute of play forced Heathrow FC's goalkeeper Joey Etherington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damion Colbert scored 4-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joey Etherington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaac Chambers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Drew Pointon made a huge save. Olly Higgins received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Drew Pointon came out and tried to block the shot, but Olly Higgins slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Kenny Bayford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brinklow United's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenny Bayford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joey Etherington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenny Bayford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brinklow United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Heathrow FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
