In the 10th minute, Tynemouth Wanderers's Ken Halliday ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duncan Foley. Duncan Foley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ken Halliday recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Przełęcz Dukla's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Halliday came free, but Duncan Foley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when John-Paul Amos got free with Duncan Foley in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Duncan Foley was a little too slow when Ken Halliday got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 27th minute, Wes Welch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes of play, Tynemouth Wanderers's John-Paul Amos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duncan Foley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dominic Moss charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominic Moss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Przełęcz Dukla booed when Tynemouth Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Moss didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Zackary Milner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brown Jackson skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casey Rushforth in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brown Jackson saved Tynemouth Wanderers from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Ken Halliday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Foley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tynemouth Wanderers's Jonny Haigh managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kyle Lightfoot in the 43 minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ken Halliday made a kick off. Ken Halliday recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pat Chalk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John-Paul Amos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Duncan Foley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tynemouth Wanderers made a substitution. Liam Roche replaced John-Paul Amos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ken Halliday in the 69th minute of play forced Przełęcz Dukla's goalkeeper Duncan Foley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Liam Roche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duncan Foley. Przełęcz Dukla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liam Roche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 76thth minute of the game Liam Roche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Przełęcz Dukla's Duncan Foley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Les Hayles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tynemouth Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but Les Hayles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duncan Foley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ken Halliday received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Duncan Foley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Wes Welch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tynemouth Wanderers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 93 minutes into the match, Ken Halliday notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Przełęcz Dukla's Duncan Foley. Duncan Foley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tynemouth Wanderers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
