An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Speight in the 87th minute of play forced Surbiton 17's goalkeeper Richard Purvis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Purvis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Speight in the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Surbiton 17's zone, Blair Speight stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Purvis came out of the goal and Blair Speight tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Zyerpaus's Joey Reading got a free kick in the 97th minute. Zyerpaus's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
