Rodd Sharples's late challenge caught a Brinklow United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodd Sharples helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Rodd Sharples hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 minutes of play Przełęcz Dukla's Rodd Sharples was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 12th match minute, Przełęcz Dukla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodd Sharples to maneuver through the defense. Duncan Foley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Mason, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Kenny Bayford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Casey Rushforth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brinklow United's Drew Pointon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Brinklow United's Barney Mason made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duncan Foley was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Damion Colbert in the 29th minute of play forced Przełęcz Dukla's goalkeeper Duncan Foley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duncan Foley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barney Mason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Przełęcz Dukla's Kirk Rawlings got a free kick in the 36th minute. The supporters of Przełęcz Dukla booed when Brinklow United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damion Colbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Barney Mason made the kick off in the second half. Duncan Foley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barney Mason in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damion Colbert got free with Duncan Foley in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gavin Waltham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Foley having to interfere. Barney Mason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Duncan Foley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavin Waltham succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 61st playminute. 2-2 became the score in the 67th minute when Casey Rushforth elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Przełęcz Dukla's Duncan Foley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barney Mason in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Casey Rushforth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Drew Pointon was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Casey Rushforth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Drew Pointon. Brinklow United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casey Rushforth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Przełęcz Dukla were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Brinklow United for a fine match.
