The supporters of Brinklow United booed when Surbiton 17 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leigh Jewson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Brinklow United's Barney Mason made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dom Middlewood in the 43rd minute of play forced Brinklow United's goalkeeper Drew Pointon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Brinklow United's Damion Colbert got a free kick in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
