Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Jordan Blackwood successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dom Middlewoods short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Jordan Blackwood to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dom Middlewood got free with Jordan Blackwood in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Owen Dunning in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jordan Blackwood saved Renton United from getting behind. Wesley Mortimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Purvis having to make a save. Renton United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Owen Dunning scored to the left of an out of position Jordan Blackwood, making the score, 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, Renton United's goalkeeper Jordan Blackwood had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dom Middlewood. Jordan Blackwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devon Bale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard, long distance shot from Owen Dunning flew over the goal. If Leigh Jewson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leigh Jewson got free with Jordan Blackwood in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Renton United's Fred Toovey got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Fred Toovey fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Renton United's protests and gave Fred Toovey a yellow card for diving instead. Fred Toovey hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Conal Windsor hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Devon Bale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Blackwood having to interfere. Devon Bale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jordan Blackwood read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Fred Toovey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Purvis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Devon Bale to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Devon Bale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surbiton 17's supporters rose to their feet, but Devon Bale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordan Blackwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leigh Jewson in the 56th minute of play forced Renton United's goalkeeper Jordan Blackwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Leigh Jewson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Renton United's Jordan Blackwood. Jordan Blackwood was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Dom Middlewood made a precise shot to the right of Jordan Blackwood. Renton United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 66 minutes into the game, Jay Peat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Renton United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Surbiton 17 the free kick. A collision led to Renton United getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Theo Medlin hit a great ball. After 73 minutes of play Renton United's Fred Toovey was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Surbiton 17 booed when Renton United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Toovey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Devon Bale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Blackwood having to interfere. Owen Dunning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Blackwood having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dom Middlewood in the 80th minute of play forced Renton United's goalkeeper Jordan Blackwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Dom Middlewood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Surbiton 17 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Owen Dunning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jordan Blackwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dom Middlewood struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jordan Blackwood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surbiton 17. In the 92nd minute, Wesley Mortimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Renton United's zone, Dom Middlewood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordan Blackwood came out of the goal and Dom Middlewood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Surbiton 17 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
