Jay Harris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ken Halliday received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jay Harris came out and tried to block the shot, but Ken Halliday slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Tynemouth Wanderers's Wes Welch dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Zyerpaus's Jay Harris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wes Welch in the 17th minute of play. Zyerpaus's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ken Halliday 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. 21 minutes into the game, Albert Swift was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zyerpaus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tynemouth Wanderers the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zyerpaus's Albert Swift got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Blair Speight managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zyerpaus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blair Speight was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Wes Welch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zyerpaus's Jay Harris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Zyerpaus from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Jay Harris successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 42nd match minute, Zyerpaus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Reading to maneuver through the defense. Zyerpaus's Jay Harris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Zyerpaus from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blair Speight to strike the kick off in the second half. Jay Harris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Paul Amos in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by John-Paul Amos in the 61st minute of play forced Zyerpaus's goalkeeper Jay Harris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jay Harris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Roche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jay Harris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Halliday in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Roche in the 88th minute of play forced Zyerpaus's goalkeeper Jay Harris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wes Welch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Jay Harris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Liam Roche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tynemouth Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but Liam Roche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jay Harris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jay Harris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Halliday in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Tynemouth Wanderers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
