In the 13th minute, Liam Panther fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Outwood FC's zone, Ty Kellaway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paddy Thackray came out of the goal and Ty Kellaway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Outwood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ty Kellaway came free, but Paddy Thackray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bulwell's Ty Kellaway suffered a concussion in the 24th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 24 minutes into the game, Quentin Doona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Outwood FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bulwell the free kick. In the 25th minute, Quentin Doona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liam Panther in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ben Gaskell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ritchie Paget got free with Ben Gaskell in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Liam Panther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match, Ritchie Paget got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ben Gaskell was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 45 minutes in the game Ralf Holland did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Liam Panther. Zackary Willoughby hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Frazer Odell sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Outwood FC's Paddy Thackray didn't even have to move. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Stew Fenwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paddy Thackray having to interfere. If Stew Fenwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A sloppy throw-in by Paddy Batty in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bulwell's Alistair Milton. Bulwell's Stew Fenwick got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stew Fenwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bulwell's Frazer Odell got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bulwell were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
