Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Phillip Gettins kicked off to start the match. Phillip Gettins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Karl Pitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giles Gale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Doug Butcher showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Rick Tyrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Giles Gale made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Gav Spink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giles Gale. Real Brid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gav Spink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Karl Pitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phillip Gettins in the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, Real Brid's Giles Gale got control of the ball when Liam Sears tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Phillip Gettins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Real Brid got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Renwick. In the 31st minute of the match, Doug Butcher tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giles Gale saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Doug Butcher came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Donnington United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doug Butcher couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Real Brid's goalkeeper Giles Gale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gav Spink. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Doug Butcher took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Giles Gale to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doug Butcher was the one to do the kick off. Giles Gale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gav Spink, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Liam Sears shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giles Gale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Real Brid got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Renwick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phillip Gettins got free with Karl Pitt in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giles Gale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gav Spink in the 67th minute of the match. Real Brid's Giles Gale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doug Butcher in the 69th minute of play. Carlton Stonebridge kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Giles Gale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liam Sears, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Doug Butcher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giles Gale. Real Brid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doug Butcher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 79th minute, Gav Spink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st match minute, Real Brid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Marshall to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 83 minutes, Gav Spink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donnington United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gav Spink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gav Spink fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donnington United's protests and gave Gav Spink a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Brid booed when Donnington United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gav Spink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donnington United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Phillip Gettins scored to the left of an out of position Karl Pitt, making the score, 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Donnington United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
