Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Juventus's Rupert Blacknell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Zane Whitworth fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blackburn Rovers F. C.'s protests and gave Zane Whitworth a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Blackburn Rovers F. C.! Aureliusz Szel came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus's Grant Couzens. But to his dismay, Grant Couzens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 8 played minutes Blackburn Rovers F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Robin Drake. When Denis Chandler fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blackburn Rovers F. C.'s protests and gave Denis Chandler a yellow card for diving instead. Denis Chandler kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rupert Blacknell got free with Aureliusz Szel in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Ronny Elliott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thom Daly was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Martyn Lancaster kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Frazer Eadan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Juventus's goal looked a bit too open when Rich Fawell came free, but Thom Daly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Bryan Short recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aureliusz Szel. Bryan Short showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Aureliusz Szel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stan Addison. Juventus's Rupert Blacknell suffered a concussion after 44 minutes and had to leave the field. Denis Chandler got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Juventus made a substitution. Kevin Farrow replaced Rupert Blacknell. The supporters of Juventus booed when Blackburn Rovers F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Chandler didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 47 in the game by Kevin Farrow from a close distance when the talented Aureliusz Szel managed to make a qualified save. Blackburn Rovers F. C.'s players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronny Elliott to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Ronny Elliott took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Thom Daly to make any attempt to save it. Aureliusz Szel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Farrow's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Stan Addison hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Bryan Short shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliusz Szel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Farrow in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliusz Szel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Kevin Farrow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliusz Szel was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Kevin Farrow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Aureliusz Szel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Kevin Farrow sped through Blackburn Rovers F. C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aureliusz Szel. Kevin Farrow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aureliusz Szel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blackburn Rovers F. C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
