Spectators: 8010 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sacha Kerr got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rory Bowler during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Rory Bowler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambleside's Conal Gray got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Dion Cross hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manchester Devils's Dominik Hunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Carey-Bertram in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Manchester Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camron Kempson to maneuver through the defense. Conal Gray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Hunter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Manchester Devils's Brynn Kessler got a free kick in the 14th minute. Manchester Devils's Dominik Hunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conal Gray in the 17th minute of play. Conal Gray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the game, one of Ambleside:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 30 minutes, Conal Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ambleside's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conal Gray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominik Hunter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Carey-Bertram's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When Jack Carey-Bertram came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ambleside fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jack Carey-Bertram couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conal Gray in the 43rd minute of play forced Manchester Devils's goalkeeper Dominik Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Dion Cross reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shane Ruddock. The goal made the score 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conal Gray made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Ambleside's Jack Carey-Bertram sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominik Hunter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Conal Gray took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Dominik Hunter to make any attempt to save it. Jack Carey-Bertram recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Manchester Devils's goalkeeper Dominik Hunter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Carey-Bertram. Conal Gray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dominik Hunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester Devils's zone, Jack Carey-Bertram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Hunter came out of the goal and Jack Carey-Bertram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Carey-Bertram got free with Dominik Hunter in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jack Carey-Bertram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Hunter having to interfere. Dominik Hunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conal Gray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Jack Carey-Bertram left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ambleside fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Paul Tanner hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Jack Carey-Bertram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Hunter having to interfere. Dominik Hunter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conal Gray's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. A collision led to Ambleside getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Howard Pearce hit a great ball. Conal Gray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Carey-Bertram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Hunter having to interfere. Ambleside's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Manchester Devils had won, even though Ambleside had held more of the ball.
