Edward Walton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timothy Gough having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Stamer in the 18th minute of play forced Brynna FC's goalkeeper Mark Kessler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Miles Wild cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mark Kessler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Brynna FC defense, Miles Wild kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Kessler. The Brynna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Kessler should have stopped the shot. Mark Kessler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Stamer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Corrigan in the 29th minute of play forced Brynna FC's goalkeeper Mark Kessler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Rockett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Kessler having to interfere. Mark Kessler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Rockett, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Brynna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan Stamer came free, but Mark Kessler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Kessler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathan Stamer in the 47th minute of play. The Brynna FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Newport City were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Edward Walton made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Newport City's Nathan Stamer made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Kessler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brynna FC's Mark Kessler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Rockett in the 55th minute of play. Nathan Stamer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Mark Kessler made a huge save. With a little luck, Brynna FC's Mark Kessler got control of the ball when Nathan Stamer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mark Kessler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miles Wild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Brynna FC got a freekick which was hit by Joe Corcoran. Mark Kessler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nathan Stamer in the 69th minute. Gareth Wiltshire kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Mark Kessler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Rockett, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Mark Kessler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miles Wild in the 75th minute of the match. When Jeff Tinker fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brynna FC's protests and gave Jeff Tinker a yellow card for diving instead. Jeff Tinker kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Brynna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Rockett came free, but Mark Kessler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Nathan Stamer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mark Kessler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 90 minutes into the match, Nathan Stamer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Kessler. Brynna FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nathan Stamer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 93rd minute Miles Wild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Kessler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Kessler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Rockett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathan Stamer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Mark Kessler made a huge save.
