Walter Castledine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lance Sansom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lance Sansom didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Johnny Brooke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Clough in the 20th minute of play. Chelsea London's Lance Sansom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea London from getting a goal against them. Pete Clough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toby Jones during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Toby Jones hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Johnny Brooke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Clough in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game William Mowlem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machiavellian's Johnny Brooke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Toby Jones was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. A collision led to Machiavellian getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Toby Jones hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Chelsea London was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vic Hartson to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 40 in the game by Ray Alsop from a close distance when the talented Lance Sansom managed to make a qualified save. Chelsea London's players were relieved.

The wind increased when Ray Alsop made the kick off in the second half. Johnny Brooke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Clough, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. William Mowlem's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Johnny Brooke skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Johnny Brooke was a little too slow when Pete Clough got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-2. Lance Sansom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keanu Wardell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lance Sansom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Alsop in the 66th minute of the match. William Mowlem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Alf Bullard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Chelsea London getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alf Bullard hit a great ball. Ray Alsop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnny Brooke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pete Clough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Machiavellian got a freekick which was hit by Walter Castledine. If William Mowlem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lance Sansom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keanu Wardell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Machiavellian's Johnny Brooke got control of the ball when William Mowlem tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chelsea London walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
