Brynna FC's Mark Kessler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Patterson in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Conal Gray made a precise shot to the right of Mark Kessler. Brynna FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10th minute Damian Patterson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Kessler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brynna FC's Mark Kessler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conal Gray in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Brynna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rufus Woolford came free, but Mark Kessler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Kessler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conal Gray in the 17th minute of play. Ambleside's Rory Bowler suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ruben Cotton's late challenge caught a Ambleside's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Cotton helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brynna FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ruben Cotton hit a great ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brynna FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damian Patterson was slow to take the kick. During this time Ambleside's players had a chance to rest. 37 minutes into the game, Ambleside's Conal Gray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Kessler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 40th match minute, Brynna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Walton to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufus Woolford in the 43rd minute of play forced Brynna FC's goalkeeper Mark Kessler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Brynna FC defense, Conal Gray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Kessler. The Brynna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Kessler should have stopped the shot. Mark Kessler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufus Woolford in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Ambleside were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conal Gray made a kick off. Mark Kessler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conal Gray, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rufus Woolford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mark Kessler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 67 minutes on the clock, Jeff Tinker commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Brynna FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jeff Tinker hit a great ball. Ambleside's Damian Patterson got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Kessler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Conal Gray showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 70 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Ambleside's Rufus Woolford dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conal Gray in the 78th minute of play forced Brynna FC's goalkeeper Mark Kessler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ambleside's Conal Gray slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mark Kessler. That made the score 0-8 after 82 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, Ambleside's Conal Gray ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mark Kessler. Mark Kessler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. In the 87th minute, Ambleside's Conal Gray dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Mark Kessler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conal Gray, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Rufus Woolford dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mark Kessler, 0-11. In the 96th minute, Ambleside's Rufus Woolford ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mark Kessler. Mark Kessler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. When the final whistle sounded Ambleside left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brynna FC.
