After 2 played minutes Brynna FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Bentham. With an all-out effort, Watton-at-Stone's Mark Kessler threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kris Winterbine, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 6 played minutes Brynna FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Bentham. 10 minutes into the match, Brynna FC's goalkeeper Mark Kessler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kris Winterbine. The supporters of Brynna FC booed when Watton-at-Stone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reggie Hardcastle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Watton-at-Stone's Kris Winterbine made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Kessler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Keith Jordoan charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keith Jordoan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Brynna FC booed when Watton-at-Stone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keith Jordoan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Tony Akins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Kessler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Watton-at-Stone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Chambers to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Cotton struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ryan Harper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brynna FC. In the 29th minute of the match, Roger Willets tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mark Kessler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Ollie West had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ryan Harper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Walton, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Edward Walton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ryan Harper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, one of Brynna FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brynna FC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kris Winterbine was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Kris Winterbine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Kessler. Brynna FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kris Winterbine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 56 minutes of play, Watton-at-Stone's Kris Winterbine made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Kessler was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Willets in the 59th minute of play forced Brynna FC's goalkeeper Mark Kessler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Kessler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Winterbine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Cotton came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ryan Harper could save by the left post. After 89 minutes Watton-at-Stone's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Walton who took care of the corner kick. Reggie Hardcastle struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Mark Kessler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Watton-at-Stone. When the referee ended the match the Watton-at-Stone players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
