Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Conal Gray got the match started through his kick off. Dynamo Hill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Lodge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shane Ruddock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jack Carey-Bertram came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Calvin Stockton could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conal Gray in the 14th minute of play forced Dynamo Hill FC's goalkeeper Calvin Stockton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Lodge in the 28th minute of play forced Ambleside's goalkeeper Shane Ruddock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dynamo Hill FC's Calvin Stockton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Dynamo Hill FC from getting a goal against them. Calvin Stockton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conal Gray, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Kurt Lodge took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shane Ruddock. Shane Ruddock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jack Carey-Bertram's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Calvin Stockton firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Lodge to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Kurt Lodge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ambleside's Shane Ruddock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shane Ruddock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Lodge in the 56th minute. Calvin Stockton came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Ambleside's Conal Gray. But to his dismay, Conal Gray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Kurt Lodge put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Shane Ruddock. In the 68th minute, Conal Gray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ambleside booed when Dynamo Hill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Burns didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Kurt Lodge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dynamo Hill FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Lodge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Howard Pearce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Kurt Lodge fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Shane Ruddock, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Kurt Lodge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Hill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Lodge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dynamo Hill FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
