Spectators: 8153 (Terracing: 6116, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kurt Lodge started the match with the kick off. Kurt Lodge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryan Harper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Dynamo Hill FC got a freekick which was hit by Ian Cooke. 15 minutes into the match, Dynamo Hill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Blake came free, but Calvin Stockton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Lodge might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryan Harper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Lodge ran back to his position shaking his head. After 18 minutes, Kurt Lodge made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Watton-at-Stone's Ryan Harper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Watton-at-Stone's Marty Gale got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Kurt Lodge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ryan Harper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Dynamo Hill FC got a freekick which was hit by Sean Burns. Calvin Stockton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Chambers in the 35th minute of the match. Sean Burns blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ryan Harper having to make a save. The attack was good, but when Kurt Lodge in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 42nd minute, Dynamo Hill FC's Kurt Lodge ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ryan Harper. Ryan Harper yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 45 minutes into the game, Marty Gale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Watton-at-Stone's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dynamo Hill FC the free kick. Marty Gale hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Sean Burns could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ryan Harper made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kris Winterbine to strike the kick off in the second half. Watton-at-Stone were furious when Philip Cornforth was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Zack Hird was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Lodge in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryan Harper saved Watton-at-Stone from getting behind. If Kris Winterbine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathon Renwick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Watton-at-Stone's Gordon Blake got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathon Renwick charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathon Renwick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathon Renwick kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Kris Winterbines short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Calvin Stockton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dynamo Hill FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sean Chambers was slow to take the kick. During this time Watton-at-Stone's players had a chance to rest. Deon Hirst tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Calvin Stockton. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 76th minute. Gordon Blake charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gordon Blake the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gordon Blake kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ryan Harper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Lodge in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Kurt Lodge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryan Harper. Watton-at-Stone's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt Lodge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The supporters of Dynamo Hill FC booed when Watton-at-Stone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Akins didn't get a good kick on the ball.
