Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kris Winterbine made the kick off and thus started the match. After 5 played minutes Willingale Hotspur F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ritchie Croft. Watton-at-Stone's Ryan Harper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Kitching in the 8th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Watton-at-Stone's Marty Gale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrick Housham. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s Patrick Housham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Winterbine in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Marty Gale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Housham was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ryan Harper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Lonsdale in the 30th minute of play. Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Kris Winterbine scored to the left of an out of position Patrick Housham, making the score, 3-0. If Gordon Blake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s Wesley McMahon got a free kick in the 40th minute. Josh Jordan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ryan Harper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Lenny Lonsdale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Harper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marty Gale during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patrick Housham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Winterbine, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Gordon Blake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Housham. Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gordon Blake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Gordon Blake struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Patrick Housham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Watton-at-Stone. Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s Patrick Housham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Winterbine in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Watton-at-Stone's Kelvin Waddington got a free kick in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristian Castledine got free with Ryan Harper in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Vince Kitching ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ryan Harper was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Patrick Housham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Chambers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lenny Lonsdale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Harper having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Kris Winterbine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Patrick Housham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Marty Gale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, Watton-at-Stone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kelvin Waddington to maneuver through the defense. Watton-at-Stone walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
