Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavin Snowdon in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lance Sansom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pete Clough came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Chelsea London fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pete Clough couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes GKS Diament got a freekick which was hit by Calum Homes. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Diament's zone, Pete Clough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fitz Parkinson came out of the goal and Pete Clough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pete Clough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The GKS Diament players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
