Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pete Clough kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd play minute William Mowlem came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Shane Ruddock. 1-0. 6 minutes into the game, Rory Bowler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ambleside's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelsea London the free kick. After 7 played minutes, Chelsea London's Glen Lister shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shane Ruddock came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chelsea London reached it. Ambleside's Shane Ruddock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Bullard in the 10th minute of play. Shane Ruddock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Clough in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Quentin Van Der Hoorn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jack Carey-Bertram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Sansom having to interfere. Conal Gray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Sansom having to interfere. Lance Sansom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conal Gray in the 26th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Chelsea London got a freekick which was hit by Glen Lister. 31 minutes into the match, Ambleside's goalkeeper Shane Ruddock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Mowlem. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Jack Carey-Bertram managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ambleside's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Carey-Bertram was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lance Sansom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th match minute, Ambleside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Moss to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Jack Carey-Bertram notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Chelsea London's Lance Sansom. Lance Sansom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jack Carey-Bertram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Sansom having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Ambleside's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Clough came free, but Shane Ruddock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shane Ruddock was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Darius Colton. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conal Gray made a kick off. Lance Sansom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conal Gray, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Carey-Bertram got free with Lance Sansom in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pete Clough charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pete Clough the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pete Clough hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Conal Gray succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. In the 63rd minute William Mowlem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shane Ruddock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambleside's Shane Ruddock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Bullard in the 64th minute of play. Conal Gray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shane Ruddock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pete Clough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Ambleside's goal looked a bit too open when William Mowlem came free, but Shane Ruddock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conal Gray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Conal Gray came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ambleside fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conal Gray couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Conal Gray reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lance Sansom. The goal made the score 3-3. In the 90th minute Alf Bullard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shane Ruddock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shane Ruddock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Mowlem in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Conal Gray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lance Sansom was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Ambleside played a much better game than Chelsea London and deserved their victory. The Chelsea London players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
