In the 8th minute, Kristian Castledine sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Manchester Devils's Dominik Hunter didn't even have to move. Sacha Kerr took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Housham. Patrick Housham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Willingale Hotspur F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! When Lenny Lonsdale came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Willingale Hotspur F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenny Lonsdale couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester Devils's zone, Lenny Lonsdale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Hunter came out of the goal and Lenny Lonsdale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominik Hunter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josh Jordan in the 20th minute. Stewart Allott hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Larry Eubank kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Kristian Castledine sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominik Hunter skillfully saved the ball. When Josh Jordan came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Willingale Hotspur F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josh Jordan couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 31 in the game by Josh Jordan from a close distance when the talented Dominik Hunter managed to make a qualified save. Manchester Devils's players were relieved. Camron Kempson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Wesley McMahon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Hunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s Josh Jordan got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Willingale Hotspur F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manchester Devils were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josh Jordan to make the kick off. Connor Little's late challenge caught a Manchester Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Connor Little helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Willingale Hotspur F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Connor Little to maneuver through the defense. Dominik Hunter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alf Bartlett went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 72 minutes, Josh Jordan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Willingale Hotspur F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Josh Jordan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josh Jordan in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Hunter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dion Cross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Manchester Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Vince Kitching came free, but Dominik Hunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camron Kempson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Kristian Castledine struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Dominik Hunter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Willingale Hotspur F.C.. After 93 played minutes Manchester Devils got a freekick which was hit by Ashley Burgess. Dominik Hunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Castledine, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Chants of Manchester Devils echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Willingale Hotspur F.C. had held the ball for most of the match.
