Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benji Hanson made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Grant Butler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Washinkai Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Grant Butler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niall Beasley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th match minute, Washinkai Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Lincoln to maneuver through the defense. Niall Beasley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benji Hanson in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Joe Kendall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niall Beasley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Washinkai Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Grant Butler. After having played for 18 minutes, Benji Hanson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Washinkai Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benji Hanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benji Hanson took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niall Beasley. Niall Beasley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Richie Postolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vern Southgate in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Vern Southgate notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Washinkai Warriors's Richie Postolan. Richie Postolan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Joe Kendall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Washinkai Warriors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 32nd minute of the match, Vern Southgate tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richie Postolan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Shawn Greenwood hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Joe Kendall took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niall Beasley. Niall Beasley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Vern Southgate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Frazer Clayton took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Richie Postolan to make any attempt to save it.

The wind increased when Vern Southgate made the kick off in the second half. Niall Beasley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benji Hanson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 55 minute of play. Joe Kendall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niall Beasley came out and tried to block the shot, but Joe Kendall slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Washinkai Warriors's goalkeeper Richie Postolan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th match minute, Washinkai Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant Butler to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glenn Hutchinson during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Shawn Greenwood fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czeladzianie's protests and gave Shawn Greenwood a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Czeladzianie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shawn Greenwood to maneuver through the defense. Niall Beasley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Butler in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Washinkai Warriors's Joe Kendall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niall Beasley. Niall Beasley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. After 87 minutes of play, Washinkai Warriors's Grant Butler made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niall Beasley was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Czeladzianie's Niall Beasley got control of the ball when Benji Hanson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Joe Kendall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Washinkai Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joe Kendall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Czeladzianie fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Washinkai Warriors were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
